Thereafter the section is Kiln dried (in Seasoning chambers) and later the requisite anti-skid surface is extruded on the surface, through imported Wood-working-machinery.

Once the decking strip is extruded, it is fine-sanded on profile sanders and then applied with exterior grade oils. The Strips are then applied as flooring (parallel to each other) with gaps of 4 mm to 6 mm wherein the water can drain away from below.

Due to kiln-seasoning and oiling the Decking Wood strip is made Water-proof, it only needs to be periodically oiled every 2-3 years to maintain the water-proofing.

Application procedure

• A grid can be first made of Water-proof Wood planks, to support the Decking Strips. Or,
• A grid below can be first made of M.S to support the decking strips. Or,
• A grid below can be first made of Aluminium channel can be fixed.
• A square frame can be first made of Water Proof wood, and wood strips screwed from frame-bottom and fixed parallel to cover till edge of each frame. This is removable and floor easy to clean later.
• Appropriate hardware is available to maintain the gaps and fix the strips to the grid with screws.

As wood has acoustic properties, the finger jointed board is also used in walls of the Home Theatre. The boards are easy to maintain, and as its natural wood it can be sanded and re-polished whenever required.

Usages

Because our Finger Jointed Boards are available in more thicknesses and Sizes than that of Plywood, it is alternately used at more places (besides the areas of Plywood usage).

Since Plywood cannot be polished, nor routed nor moulded – and all of which can be done on Finger Jointed Boards.

One also saves cost of laminate or veneer when using Finger Jointed Board, which otherwise is needed to be fixed on plywood. As the Finger-Jointed Boards are natural solid wood, it can take any stain and be easily polished.

The furniture made from boards are easy to maintain, and it can be sanded and re-polished whenever required.

Usages

It is most beneficial for builders who are looking to flush the door-frame-width with the wall-thickness. Moulding, rebating, mitter-joints, chiselling are all easy on finger Jointed Door frames, as it is natural wood.

With the finger-joining at many pieces, the wood is more stronger and dimensions are straighter. As the Finger-Jointed Boards are natural and solid wood, it can take any stain and be easily polished.
